Quality of our Frescobol Collection

Our Frescobol bats are made out of one of the highest quality raw materials we have on Earth: wood. We use linden, walnut and beech with a thickness of up to 16 millimeters. The thickness of the racket varies, because the handle gets a little more weight, which improves the playability. Much of the manufacturing process is done by hand, so each set is unique!

Made out of high quality wood

The Frescobol rackets of Salt on Wood have been made from linden, walnut and beech and sealed with an ecological varnish. Although they are not completely water resistant, a short shower does not bother them.

Two grip tape colors

A Frescobol bat has a weight of about 350 to 380 grams. The grip band is made out of plastic (polyurethane) and lies particularly well in the hand due to its elevations. The yellow and orange balls, included in the set, are made of high quality rubber and designed especially for Frescobol.

Fast and Sporty

Extremely fast rallies are possible thanks to the striking surfaces which are adapted to the ball. With a big sweetspot in the middle of the racket.
Frescobol is played with a specially designed rubber ball that jumps off quickly (high rebound), flies far and can also be played in the wind.

Beachball = Frescobol?

The cheap racket sets known as beachball are made of thin plywood. This gives you not as much power on the ball and they also tend to breaks quickly. The ball is usually only suitable for short distances and hardly to use in wind. The glued plastic handles also go off quickly.

High Quality

Thanks to durable wooden clubs – and not with thin chipboard that breaks down quickly and does not put pressure on the ball.
Several years – and holidays – with the same bats are no problem. Because the grip can be renewed and a few defects in the wood do not ruin the performance.
